meet your midwife
Erin Kaspar-Frett is a mother to four beautiful children. Two that she gave birth to at home. Her wife, Melissa, gave birth to their third and forth at home and into Erin’s loving hands. In addition to being a mother and a partner, she is a sister and a friend. She is always learning more and honors all cycles of life.
training & Education
Erin began her training before her first child was born. First, receiving her Bachelors in Biology from Hamline University, then going on to get her Certification as a Doula, a trained labor support person. During her first pregnancy she began the Master’s program at the Midwives College of Utah, shortly after her son’s birth she began attending births in her apprenticeship in MN. She trained with multiple midwives in MN and beyond.
Her clinical training completed in 2006 and she opened her practice, completing her Master’s thesis project in March of 2009, she graduated with a Master’s of Science in Midwifery and lives in Knapp, Wisconsin with her family and has her office in Menomonie.
Erin is President of MCCPM (Minnesota Council of Certified Professional Midwives) and a member of the WI Guild of Midwives. She has her CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) and is a licensed midwife.
